Currently employed as a Development & Policy Officer for the Alliance for Police Accountability. I am culturally aware, politically savvy, and very personable with excellent communication skills and a yearning to use my knowledge, abilities, and lived experiences to help advance the United Kingdom and our world.
Education
Aiming to get a First-Class award for this degree. Honing my ability to become a top-class researcher. Carrying out an interview-based qualitative study. I share my research in a poster discussion with the research community. Module that developed my research skills including ontological & epistemological understandings; presentation skills; research methods; and academic integrity.
Experience
As the sole full-time employee of this NGO, I had to fulfil a wide variety of roles. I developed and implemented new strategies to increase our impact, reach, and professionalism. I built relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, policymakers, and other NGOs. I managed the organisation's social media presence and created content to engage our audience. I also created and maintained a website to provide information about our work and resources for the public, which also had an integrated member's area to provide a reciprocal feedback between the organisation and community.
